OLIVE OIL GRILLED TURKEY: MEDITERRANEAN DIET

Originating from the Mediterranean coast, Grilled turkey with olive oil is a great way to enjoy a meal that is both healthy and delicious.

OLIVE OIL GRILLED TURKEY
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 2
Ingredients for Grilled Turkey
2 Turkey tenderloins
2 Tablespoons olive oil
1 Teaspoon dried thyme
1 Teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and Pepper

Instructions:
Preheat a frying pan over medium high heat
Mix together in a bowl, olive oil, dried thyme, dried oregano, salt and pepper
Brush the turkey tenderloins with the olive oil mixture
Grill the turkey tenderloins for about 6-8 minutes each side, until cooked through
Let the turkey rest for a few minutes before cutting
Serve with your favorite side dish
CUCUMBER FETA SALAD
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 2
Ingredients:
2 cups diced cucumber
¼ cup diced red onion
¼ cup crumbled feta cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Squeeze one lemon
Salt and Pepper
Instructions:
Combine in a bowl, diced cucumber, diced red onion, crumbled feta cheese, and chopped dill
In a small bowl, whisk together extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper
Sprinkle the dressing over the cucumber mixture and toss to combine
Serve the cucumber feta salad with the turkey tenderloin
